Why we built LegitX

The idea started from something simple. A business card - even a digital one, with a QR code - already exists everywhere, and it doesn't solve the real problem: anyone can generate a code with whatever information they want, with no real link to the company they claim to represent.

We're living through a moment where impersonation has become routine - at the door, over the phone, online - as the technology to fake credentials has become accessible to anyone. That's where LegitX started, from a simple question: if information can be copied by anyone, why do we still rely on it for trust?

Our mission is simple: verification that can't be faked, because it doesn't depend on what a representative says about themselves, but on what the company confirms, in real time - protecting the company and the customer alike.
